I've worked within the garden industry since 2002. At 21 I moved to London where I studied an RHS certificate in Horticulture at Capel Manor College and worked in several garden centres over 8 years boutique and chain. I was then approached to help run a small independent garden shop which offered garden maintenance. This is where I learnt how to run a business!
Originally from Wolverhampton I then moved back home, and launched The Potting Shed in 2016.
Outside of work: I play the guitar, like going to gigs, cycling and having a few beers in the pub!

Dan has been working in the Horticultural industry for around 7 years. In that time he has worked for large scale maintenance companies performing hard and soft landscaping and general maintenance duties. He is well experienced with using petrol equipment and getting tasks done efficiently. He has experience dealing with domestic and commercial clients and is friendly and helpful.
Dan joined The Potting Shed June 2024 and we're delighted to have him on board.
His hobbies include fishing and spending time on his allotment.
Jake joined The Potting Shed May 2024 and we're delighted to have him on board. He has years of experience working for a landscape company where he undertook a variety of soft and hard landscaping tasks, including turfing & timber raised beds He is friendly, hardworking and has taken to his new Team leader role with ease.
Dean joined The Potting Shed in 2021 as a seasonal assistant gardener, He then got made Team leader in 2023. And has since taken on some our largest clients. He is friendly, hardworking and an asset to the business. His hobbies include drumming and he is in a band in his spare time.
Ben has an RHS Level 2 Practical Horticulture certificate from Pershore College and also has his Level 3 certificate.
He had done some volunteer work tending the grounds at Rodbaston College before joining The Potting Shed in March 2017.
He is an asset to the success of The Potting Shed. He is reliable, friendly and professional and I we are lucky to have him!
